La Reflex
If you didn't get enough of "The Reflex" yet, here's a 'live' performance from Italy. Even through the bad reception, the mullets are pretty.

Ta na na? Ta na na na!
I found a really cool article over at Sound on Sound about the recording of Seven and the Ragged Tiger and, in particular, "The Reflex" that I just had to my recording blog. All of you techies will enjoy it!

It's Friday, babies!
Awwwww yeah...This jam makes me want a foo foo drink and some strappy shoes to shake my booty in. Try not to tap your toes!
I know I've posted that video before, but c'mon...do you really mind?
And on a more serious note (there's really no way to segue that will work here)...I desperately need your opinions over at the Bangs...Sounds of the 80's blog for our kitty sponsorship. Please help us out (no money involved - just love for kitties)!

If only Jay could have predicted YouTube...
If Jay Leno could have predicted YouTube and streaming shows and all of that, maybe he would have taken Warren up on his suggestion to broadcast from home. Then we wouldn't be waiting for Conan to take over from him on The Tonight Show. What am I saying? Scratch that idea. Hopefully the current lineup will be hitting that stage again with the red haired genius sooner than later!
For now...enough frilly shirts and black leather to sink a pirate ship on Goth night at the local karaoke bar!

He's got a License to totallly Kill It.
Those of you following along over at DuranDuran.com already know that Mark Ronson continues direct the boys into some sort of disco/indie/retro/new/super-cute-in-ties-and-stuff territory for the new album. But did you also know that he can rock a Bond medley?
And here's that new studio footage, in case you're *not* following along:
Speaking of NEW things, did you know there's a new Facebook Page for Glue: A Tribute to the Music of Duran Duran? Join up, comment, be the first to hear old things...y'know the drill!

Back with the Future!
Ooh, where am I? Even *I* started popping in to see if I'd updated yet. Sorry guys. I will not neglect you again!
I want to spotlight more Michael Aaron Duran-goodness, because he rocks! Check out his "Secret Oktober":
And because my heart doesn't just belong to inspiration--let's hear some of Michael's orginals, too. If you're not a fan yet, you're just nutty:
Subscribe to his YouTube channel for all of his videos. I swear, between the artistry and the catchy tunes, you do Duran proud, Michael...
