Thank you all so much for having followed my crazy Duran video antics! I haven't had time to update lately due to so much going on with my biz, so I wanted to pass along some of my other favorite Duran blogs that you should definitely check out (if you're not already):
Gimme a Wristband!
Duran Duran Podcast
Plus, you can still get your copy of "Glue: A Tribute to the Music of Duran Duran" at our site.

The Original 'New Moon'
One of the blogs I like to haunt, Suburban Vampire, has a nice little Duran tribute itself this week! Enjoy a little 'New Moon' fix!
(And if you're also a vamp fan like me, you might want to join us over at Serious Vanity Vampires, too!).

I'm Freaking Out Because it's already September.
Seriously, 2009? Where have you gone?
This one has been making the rounds on Facebook, but it's worth sharing some more. Great mash up of two classics!

It's Duran Duran Appreciation Day!
Like seriously, I'm not making that up! I like how Rio suggested we celebrate!
Apparently, DD are open to the idea of appreciating right back at us (they better be!). I think my Duran investments alone have probably kept the lebon girls in fancy sandals for years. So I'll take it!
Love you, Schmoopies.

The Glue PSA Kittah has something to say!
The "Glue" PSA Kittah (otherwise known as Cami) didn't want me to forget to let you know about a really fun, great offer we've currently got going over at the Serious Vanity Records compound. If you dug Glue, you're really going to dig this!!
For a very limited time, the first 100 preorders only of our new CD, Vampires & Valentines, not only will receive 3 mp3s immediately, plus the two-song single by moi of Detroit’s Wheels Aren’t Turning Anymore (which includes my cover of Blondie's "Dreaming"), *and* free shipping on the CD, but now will also have the opportunity to have a spot in the special “undeadication” thank you’s that will be included with the CD and on the website!
It's perfect for other bands, artists, crafters, business owners, causes or charities, or even just getting your baby's name in the packaging! And it will be in front of a lot of people, so that's a pretty cool advertising opportunity for under $11.
Find out more about it on our site, or go right to the V&V page, check out the current tunes and get yourself signed up!
Come Undone Thursday!
I think I'm going to just starting doing a "Come Undone" day, because it's the song I always hear the most covers of. This one is way above average, so I hope you dig it as much as I do. Oh hell, what am I saying? You will. It's not like we're not sharing one collective Duran consciousness at this point.

Thank you, Gretchen!
My buddy Gretchen kicks major butt for having posted this one on Facebook this morning. One of the best Duran interviews I've never seen! So awesome when stuff like this falls out of nowhere!
Speaking of falling out of nowhere, I'm back!!! Expect some new posts on a (semi) regular basis again.

Ta na na? Ta na na na!
I found a really cool article over at Sound on Sound about the recording of Seven and the Ragged Tiger and, in particular, "The Reflex" that I just had to my recording blog. All of you techies will enjoy it!

It's Friday, babies!
Awwwww yeah...This jam makes me want a foo foo drink and some strappy shoes to shake my booty in. Try not to tap your toes!
I know I've posted that video before, but c'mon...do you really mind?
And on a more serious note (there's really no way to segue that will work here)...I desperately need your opinions over at the Bangs...Sounds of the 80's blog for our kitty sponsorship. Please help us out (no money involved - just love for kitties)!

If only Jay could have predicted YouTube...
If Jay Leno could have predicted YouTube and streaming shows and all of that, maybe he would have taken Warren up on his suggestion to broadcast from home. Then we wouldn't be waiting for Conan to take over from him on The Tonight Show. What am I saying? Scratch that idea. Hopefully the current lineup will be hitting that stage again with the red haired genius sooner than later!

He's got a License to totallly Kill It.
Those of you following along over at DuranDuran.com already know that Mark Ronson continues direct the boys into some sort of disco/indie/retro/new/super-cute-in-ties-and-stuff territory for the new album. But did you also know that he can rock a Bond medley?
And here's that new studio footage, in case you're *not* following along:
Speaking of NEW things, did you know there's a new Facebook Page for Glue: A Tribute to the Music of Duran Duran? Join up, comment, be the first to hear old things...y'know the drill!

Back with the Future!
Ooh, where am I? Even *I* started popping in to see if I'd updated yet. Sorry guys. I will not neglect you again!
I want to spotlight more Michael Aaron Duran-goodness, because he rocks! Check out his "Secret Oktober":
And because my heart doesn't just belong to inspiration--let's hear some of Michael's orginals, too. If you're not a fan yet, you're just nutty:
Subscribe to his YouTube channel for all of his videos. I swear, between the artistry and the catchy tunes, you do Duran proud, Michael...
